"It began with one woman’s journey into her body. A confrontation started between herself and the body she had been carrying for many years now. As she looked closely into what her body had been trying to say, she heard echoes from a world she had failed to see before, and all this time, it was living inside her." – Island of our bodies This multimedia project is an inquiry into the female body. It explores the implications of dealing with the body through abstraction, fantasy, and the reality of physicality. It attempts to recreate our being, our existence, through the medium of film.
